אחרי שעתיים-שלוש הלכתי לאיש הזה שיש לו טלפון. התקשרתי אליו ושאלתי אותו: "איך אני אגיע?" אמר לי: "תיקח לך מונית"

אני מבגדאד. אני לא רגיל לקחת מונית, ויש לי 20 דינר. המלפפונים בגודל כזה, אנחנו קונים 10-5 קילו בבגדאד.

הגעתי אליו אחרי 67', בשנות השבעים. ברגע שפתח לי היה לו מגן דוד ככה. הוא אמר לי: אני הייתי ככה במנצ'סטר, זאת חברה שלי (girlfriend).

שאל אותי: מה תרצה לשתות?

עניתי לו: תה

הוא הביא לי כוס מים עם תיון מידלדל ב glass.

אמרתי לו: "מה זה?"

ענה לי: זה נקרא tea bag...
